“Mainly stayed for Keswick Convention. Walkable distance from Base Camp and Main Tent at Skiddaw Street. It's quiet and near a scenic view from a river nearby. The lawn of the Hotel brings rabbits and relaxing atmosphere to guests. Friendly staff and great self-served breakfast. A good balance of price and service. Will definitely visit again.”

“Great hotel in a fantastic location for the city and train station. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The ladies on reception made a real difference by leaving my boy sweets whilst we were out due to him missing out on trick or treating. Will definitely be back again”

“Very clean room and breakfast lovely, hot, high quality bacon,sausage etc . Pets welcome in the bar area only Mattress too firm for our choice but this personal to each person . Nice touch of bottled water , various selection of small soaps, shampoo etc and choc biscuits in room . Very busy Friday night for eating so understandably bit of a wait find our table and take orders . Great food and beers ! ”
