“Being so close to the station was ideal as we travelled by train. The hotel was clean and seemed to be newly refurbished. There was an ace Indian called Shaha just a couple of walk away. The wetherspoons round the corner called Wiiliam Rufus was also clean and friendly.”

“The hotel is comfortable but needs a bit of an upgrade. Our room had a lovely four poster bed but the shower needed an upgrade. Evening meal was disappointing.”

“Very clean room and breakfast lovely, hot, high quality bacon,sausage etc . Pets welcome in the bar area only Mattress too firm for our choice but this personal to each person . Nice touch of bottled water , various selection of small soaps, shampoo etc and choc biscuits in room . Very busy Friday night for eating so understandably bit of a wait find our table and take orders . Great food and beers ! ”
