The bedroom and bathroom were lovely, the breakfasts amazing, the staff always happy to help and the location just off the A590 was perfect for exploring the whole Lake District. My only rejoinder was that the stairs to the rooms are a little challenging for someone like me who is mobility impaired. Wonderful bed and breakfast to stay during weekend getaways. I was a tourist from the USA and the property owners were polite, attentive and courteous. The room was spacious with windows overlooking the lake. I would highly recommend this location for you future stays at the Lake District!

We enjoyed our stay at Cedar Manor. The hosts were great and offered advice on dining in the local area and walking directions to the town. We spent most of our time traveling the area and did not eat in the restaurant. The room was a little on the small side and the hot weather required a fan in the room which did not add to the comfort. Otherwise all good and worth a visit

Lovely large and clean room witb a super comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff.

We really felt pampered here. Loved the area. Great if you’re a dog lover. Food was excellent and bar was warm and cozy.

A really impressive property

First impression of the hotel at check-in was exceptional- Stephen was very welcoming and friendly, and we knew it was going to be an incredible stay! In fact, encounters with the staff from bartender, restaurant and housekeeping were all friendly, engaging, and positive. Lovely country pub, with very friendly staff

The LInthwaite House Hotel is absolutely marvelous--in every way. The location overlooking Lake Windermere is perfect--amazing views, feels like a million miles from the tourist chaos below, yet extremely handy to everything is one wanted to pop to a local pub or explore. A truly amazing property. Unparalleled service, exquisite country setting, the most wonderful food and presentation. We were here two different nites within a week and were welcomed back on our second stay like old friends. Deco is amazing...cannot say enough about this wonderful property. What a lovely hotel with such good energy. There’s a serenity to this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities from a swim in the pool, hot sauna, hanging out in the terrace and dinner at The Living Space. The property itself is beautifully designed. A place to stroll and soak in the peacefulness. After dinner I took such a stroll and while everyone else was dining I was able to spend some time on the tree swings by myself. This was the best stay on our two-week trip. The room was the biggest, and it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. And our host, Mick, was wonderful to talk to. Plus, we got to participate in Quiz Night! I was surprised to enter a B&B through the bar, but once I figured it out, that was fine, too. A most enjoyable evening and a great stay.
