“Nice hotel but a bit tired needs decorating on the out side and the room but a great scenery and great location would definitely book again”

“Property in need of an uplift.Pool needs a good clean ,pool sunloungers many brocken,cushions need replacing,regular sweeping around the pool,.Top of steps leading to pool concrete loose and dangerous. General painting outside.After a day out,returned to room 327 ,room had not been touched,the Manager Vickey made the bed,changed the towels and refilled tea and coffee,well done her.”

“Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay ”

“Incredible hotel, couldn’t recommend more. The only fault I could find was the WiFi. It was a very weak connection that fell in and out of connection every single day, normally wouldn’t be a big issue but obviously you don’t have any data in that location either. Other than that, spectacular!!”

“Large clean room with sofa bed and a double bed. Small fridge and hairdryer. Large bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Shower floods bathroom everytime due to not having a door/screen to floor meaning you have to use 3 towels on floor to stop this, bad design in my opinion. Breakfast was your normal buffet restaurant, nit a lot of gluten free options avaliable, asked for some gluten free bread and was handed one small slice. Hotel close to beach, and town so great location. Not enough parking……

“The property looked like a victorian massive elegant house it was lovely had everything there you needed, beds were big and very clean had a good night's sleep, breakfast was plentiful and a good choice continental, cereals juices full English, or various others like egg or beans on toast sausage / bacon sandwich plus tea and coffee. Had a lovely sea view of Exmouth also had a bar couldnt fault anything ,would definitely recommend 5 stars. Staff were very friendly.”

“located in the small downtown Lyme Regis, easy to go to the beach, shops and restaurants it is an very old inn, very tradition english wooden building, downstair is the bar and restaurant, a bit oily smell, beware of no air-con”
