“Clean and good location. Hot showers and well equipped kitchen. Double mattress is a bit soft, ready for replacement soon. Also directions to get to the property could need a bit more detail.”

“We had a wonderful holiday at Cider Cottage. Owners friendly, welcoming and helpful. A beautiful cottage to stay in and go off and explore north Devon. Wonderful recommendations in welcome pack.”

“Great location by village green and 2 min walk to beach. Free parking around village green if you can get a space. Cottage has bedrooms on ground floor, one has double bed, be aware that if you have bedroom window open you will hear the bin men and delivery drivers from very early in morning from 6am and they are right outside the window. I wouldn't call the other bedroom a bedroom, bunk beds pushed up against a wall and tiny, more like a corridor. Had to clean cobwebs from light fitting in……

“What a perfect place for our stay in the Torquay area! The home was easy to find, easily accessed through a lock box, and had everything we needed. I feel I have to mention that the beds were amazing - so comfortable! It was in walking distance to a grocer, several restaurants, and Kent's Caves - and with bus stops nearby if you don't have a car handy. Claire was wonderful to work with, and I definitely would stay here again.”

“It was the most picturesque, homely place. We were made to feel so at home, when we arrived a log fire was already going, and we were a little later than expected so Renate unloaded our Morrisons food delivery for us which was so kind. The house was so clean, the gardens were so well kept the whole farm was just gorgeous and Renate gave us a tour too, as well as letting us roam freely - which we all loved especially my two children, 7years and 20months.. they loved being so free and feeding the……

“Very enjoyable stay. Lovely clean and well appointed cottage with great views and comfortable beds. Great for coastal walls but only 12 minutes from Salcombe. No real to talk to the hosts but overall very welcoming. ”
