"The property was undergoing improvements when we were there. We stayed on the second level and had very little water pressure. The wifi was often down and the free breakfast was basic, but good. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. The staff were all friendly with the exception of one, whom didn't seem to want to help us and were pass our questions off to the younger staff. When we arrived on Sunday he whole area was extremely busy. If want quiet come during the week, otherwise be prepared to party on the weekend. "

"Room was spacious and clean, the staff were super nice and helpful, from the doormen, front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff. The pool was clean, not crowded and fun for the kids. The Premium Lounge for snacks and refreshments available throughout the day was a nice surprise. Breakfast was good. It’s an older hotel, but generally well maintained, and the location is convenient, across from Bambu City Center mall. The Bambu City Center was also a meeting spot for our tour company, so that was very convenient. We had a great time in El Salvador and enjoyed our stay at the Barceló San Salvador. "
