"I had a wonderful two week stay in April 2026. The Las Sirenas room was large, always clean and well-equipped although I couldn't make the safe work. The wi-fi in the room was good, the TV had quite a few channels in English, but the channel with the hockey games was constantly freezing. Not there to watch TV anyway. AC worked well and was much appreciated. The high temps all 14 days were either 28 or 29 and the overnight 'lows' either 27 or 28 !! The pools are warm and nearly always empty as everyone is at the beach. And what a beach ! Soft on the feet sand all the way out until you're floating. The buffet was good with theme nights, some better than others. Fresh made to order omelets every morning were excellent especially when made by the guy with the small beard. The a la cartes were awesome, beach club surf and turf was the best steak I've had in Latin America ! The drinks were always freshly made and served quickly. It may be that April is not their peak season, it seemed as though the hotel wasn't full so there was lots of staff, lots of food and seats in the buffet, lots of sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach.
Disappointments
The hotel has private events that close areas of the resort and go on, at high volume, until quite late. The wedding went until 1 am.
The hotel sells day passes to people on cruise ships in the harbor. They fill up a section of the beach squeezing the hotel guests into the remaining area."
