“Het hotel ligt zo mooi in de natuur, en is mooi gerenoveerd. Een groot nadeel, er was geen brood bij het (betaalde) ontbijt en er was slechts één medewerker die paniekerig z’n best deed tevergeefs te helpen. Daarom geen slechte beoordeling in de hoop op beterschap.”

“The room was excellent and very comfortable, with stunning views of the valley below. What stood out the most was the generous and warm and professional staff from beginning to end. They were welcoming and made the chateau a very welcome destination after a long drive.”

“The room was very clean and the area was quiet. We left before breakfast so no rating there. The Château restaurant was not open, perhaps because it is April? However, Ginette Restaurant was open one night and it was quite good. The location is fantastic for the cathedral. It is a bit of a walk to restaurants and shops in town but the walk is beautiful.”

“This out of the way small hotel is amazing The gardens are lovely, along the river and old bridge, and the restaurant truly special. It’s close to Rocamadour and other sites. FYI: There aren’t shops nearby, but a casual lunch place with good food is a fifteen minute walk.”

“The room is clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is conveniently located nearby the Chapel of Notre Dame. The lady (the owner) explains us the route in details and later in the evening she helps us to book an extremely nice yet local restaurant nearby. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay. ”

“We only stayed one night but wished it could have been more. Beautiful little stone hotel right in the heart of this beautiful town. We ended up in a huge room with period furniture, huge windows with wooden shutters opening onto the courtyard outside. The lady manager spoke perfect English and was a very interesting person to talk to. 10/10 from us”

“We felt well cared for while spending two nights at La Bonne Auberge with our German Shepard. Emmanuel, the host, had a dog bed, water dish and disposable bags in the room on our arrival. The room was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed and nice linens. The view from the terrace was spectacular, especially at night. Breakfast was lovely, freshly baked breads, house made yogurt and jams, fresh squeezed OJ, local honey, ham and cheeses and fresh fruit. We enjoyed dinner at the Auberge……
