"We had a wonderful stay at the house. The owner, Erfan, gave us a very warm welcome and was always available if we needed any help or advice. The house was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It has stunning views over the mountains towards the Pyrenees. Although in a quiet location it is within easy reach of Cuxac Cabardes which has shops and a restaurant as well as being a 25 minute drive to Carcassonne. I thoroughly recommend this house if you are looking for a beautiful rural location...

"We've stayed in many self catering cottages and had a very different experience in this one. On VRBO the gite is advertised as having a lake view, its no where near a lake! After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. There was no mention of this on VRBO, so the owner waived the charge. We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday and immediately had to find a supermarket as no basics/welcome pack was provided e.g bread,...
