"Breakfast was excellent, better than some hotel charges $12-15. However, I wished an amenity should have more items such as a shower cap, cotton and cotton swabs. The location was excellent because the train station was so close. Inside 5minutes walking many restaurants were near by."

"Not only was the property clean, easy to locate, walkable and quiet but the lady who runs the hotel is an absolute sweetheart. The breakfast she made us was better than a lot of the food I was eating at restaurants. I would recommend this stay to anyone. "

"We had a fantastic stay at the Mikasa Ryokan, which we would describe more as an experience from the moment we entered the hotel, until the moment we were dropped back at the JR Station by the hotel shuttle bus. The staff are very attentive, the food was excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
