“Lovely historic building with a nod to the past in the internal character but with an overall modern feel within the rooms. Comfy bed, clean bathroom and a safety deposit box and toiletries which made this a lovely room. Would have liked a better view, we were in room 145 at the back of the property and tbe coffee/tea tray was on a unit where there wasnt a plug so had to keep moving the entire tray to the dressing table when using the kettle. “staff were excellent , could not be more helpful . Room was so spacious and kept to a high standard ate in restaurant both nights of our stay , viewing other places to eat we found the hotel restaurant much better both decor service and food,many thanks to all the staff , so central. If i had to pick a fault i would have to make it up (which i won’t) The parking was first rate , we got parked no bother however beware it’s first come first servered. Many thanks to all the staff. ”
