“Upon arrival at the Grantham Arms, we were welcomed warmly by staff. The atmosphere was friendly and cheerful on the Saturday before Christmas. Our room was well-appointed and very cosy. The decor was stylish and comfortable with plenty of cushions and good quality bed linen and towels. There were lots of extras - we particularly liked the biscuits - and the tea and coffee making facilities were great. “Very friendly and polite staff, informative and helpful as this was our first stay in Harrogate. The room was a lovey size, well decorated and appointed, and the bathroom was similarly of a great size with a good size roll top bath and shower. Lovely view over the park. A lovely meal and a few drinks were enjoyable in the dining room. The only small negative was the entrance area includes the only lounge/seating area and bar, and as the Christmas parties were in full swing, there was nowhere,……
