The breakfast selection was really basic, either chapin or American, with anything extra like orange juice for an extra fee. One morning we had to wait way past 30 minutes to order. When we complained they informed us there was a group who made reservations ahead of us who needed to be served first. The pool we never used because they told us the water was very cold, yet one evening there was a group of young people enjoying it without complaining. We all loved Paco, the welcoming happy parrot kept in the lobby." I cannot preface enough that this hotel is a MUST stay when visiting Lake Atitlan, even if just for one night.
