“The property is quite big & well maintained by staff. Staff were very friendly and would teach guests a few words if interested. Front desk and Concierge staff didn’t all speak English so relied on translation apps. The buffet served a lot of local foods which was great although would have enjoyed more variety night after night. There was often some type of pool exercise or entertainment in the day and evenings. The property is 1.5 hours from Samana airport and transportation from the airport……

“I had an amazing time here at hotel bannister. The view was amazing, the hotel was clean, and the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast on site was great as were the restaurants. Overall I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.”

The grounds were immaculate, the pools with all the natural rock was stunning and the pool table was a great added touch. The staff were so friendly, polite and knowledgeable that we never felt that we were just guests to them.
