“This is our second stay at Hacienda Cucuyo. It is such a hidden gem overlooking Samaná Bay. It has a limited occupancy which makes it perfect for a retreat style stay. It is quiet, comfortable, and very connected experience. Daniela is an absolutely terrific hostess! She welcomed us warmly and is the perfect host as is Victor and the rest of the staff. Our only complaint was the tiny ants that showed up in our luggage and bed on the first night do to our ground level apartment and the rain the……

“En general estuvo bueno, limpio, habitaciones cómodas y amplias,, comida buena, el personal amable unos más que otros, el café shop muy ricooo, Me sucedió algo muy fue , encontramos una rata en la habitación lo vimos a la 1 am, llamamos a recepción y nos mandaron un empleado que después de mucho batallar y después de una hora la mató , limpió la sangre y se fue, nadie de recepción o del hotel se interesó por nosotros y no fueron capaces ni siquiera de preguntar si estábamos bien, nadie limpió ni……

There was no water from 3-5 PM in our rooms for 2 days and the person checking us in AT 3:00 should have informed us of that. Instead there is a little note on the table easily missed and we didn’t see until we tried to use the restroom in the room.
