“The location and snorkelling were great. Buffet breakfast was also fantastic. This is a large resort so you don't get that small pacific vibe, its a very busy place. But easy to drive from there to visit other attractions if you have a car.”

“Spacious and extremely clean room but there is no enclosed shower or bathtub that makes the toilet floor all wet every time after shower. Overall nice and friendly hotel staff with good and immediate service. Food from the hotel is good especially salad, seafood and the fruit smoothies!”

“My 13 yo daughter and I stayed for 2 nights and had the best time. We had a poolside cabin and loved the view, the location to amenities and our stay. We were able to use kayaks to paddle around the estuary and had fun snorkeling in the area. Piula pools just a 5 minute walk which were really great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady at the front desk. Food was nice and the room had air conditioning and a fan, and the bed was comfy. Room had a fridge, tea and coffee,……

“Shared bathroom facilities and cold showers only with no hook or shelf to hang anything. Great access to beach but limited options to do when weather is poor. Some games would be great. Lovely staff. Breakfast and dinner is included and changed up daily. Really enjoyed the food. Room basic but adequate. Main deck area dated and needs a clean.”

“Really enjoyed our stay at Va-I-Moana. A "resort feel" sort of stay, beach out the front with some reef for snorkling. Nice restaurant and bar and although the menu was limited due to supply issues, the meals we had were very good. A little run down but made it seem a little rustic. Staff were great and the place just had a good vibe.”

“We really enjoyed our stay with this local family in the Fao Fao fales. Beautiful beach out the front, nice rustic bar and dining area overlooking the water and reef. Seems like snorkling off beach would be good (we didnt get time to) and lots of attractions close by.”

“remote, private, quiet and scenic. An antidote to city life. Immediate access to beautiful sea with friendly fishes. Plenty of sunshine and sea breeze. Natural existence and far from the madding crowd which distinguishes it from more populated resorts.”
