I recently traveled to Barbados early June for my birthday. The hotel staff was very warm and friendly; they checked in on my friends and I daily and gave us great advice of places to visit, places to eat and booked a catamaran excursion for us that picked us up and dropped us off. Rosie at reception is amazing!! She was funny and sweet and even gave a a bottle of wine on my Birthday! Staff were friendly and very kind. The facilities were kept well. They even prepared the Guest Lounge for in case we needed a place to stay after the official check out.

We stayed 3 nights on our first trip to Barbados. The hotel is lovely and the room was very comfortable. The staff was amazing - everyone was so friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer, but we booked at the last minute and they were completely booked. The food in the restaurant was very good as well. We will be back someday!

This was my first trip to Barbados. I selected this hotel specifically for the design, decor and aesthetics.... and yes the hotel is as beautiful and vybesy as pictured. From the airport pickup to Tameka setting me up in a Fantastic room that has everything one could need, from Ricardo being the utmost professional gentleman and best security to make me feel safe secure and comfortable.. it's a gem, it's quiet & peaceful and if your looking for the noise & crowds Just walk down to the gap, market and bus stops near & it's really a perfect spot to rest, relax, eat, swim in blue waters. Beautiful, clean hotel located on a perfect stretch of sandy beach. But what really made the difference was the friendliness of the entire staff. The restaurant and bar staff always extend a pleasant greeting and you will get to know them. The front desk helped me arrange tours of the island. They make you feel welcome at their hotel and glad you picked Barbados. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, and I definitely would stay there again.

If you are trying to decide between the Marriott properties- this is definitely the best (more to open soon though). The beach is beautiful and there is great snorkeling if you follow the rope on the left side over the reef. We stayed in a split ocean view - incredible view. From the moment we checked in (on our honeymoon) until we left 6 days later our experience was awesome. The general manager took the time to learn our name, greet us upon arrival and again as we left. Fellow guests were all friendly. My rental car's battery died and they took care of everything while we were off playing golf. The food, especially daily breakfast, was fabulous. All needs were anticipated without request necessary. All-in-all, a great trip (I highly recommend Barbados as well).

The host and property were welcoming and ready to accommodate our stay. A taxi driver was arranged in order to navigate our way around the island. Breakfast was copiously prepared as requested and minor details throughout the trip were cared for. Thank you to the hots!

A wonderful old, colonial era hotel right on the water. Tons of history, amazing service, and a great restaurant right on site. Excellent getaway if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, without many distractions.
