The general experience was quite good, the hotel menu selection was ok. and service quite good.
The public transportation was quite easy and accessible. .
However, there was a misunderstanding on the package booked.
Although my party consists of (4) four person, however, the breakfast was only available to (1) one person.
This was not made clear when the booking was made. we discovered this the day we checked in..
This was very dissappointing ..

Hotel LeRoy offers an exceptional and comfortable experience, making it a perfect choice for your stay. Ideally situated along the St. Lawrence strip, it is just a short 10-minute drive to the vibrant Oistins Fish Fry and conveniently close to all that Barbados has to offer. The hotel itself is stunning, exactly as depicted in the photos, with direct access to the beach. The staff is remarkable, consistently kind, friendly, and welcoming, ensuring that guests feel at home every day. We truly...

My wife and I were very very impressed how helpful and caring the staff was during our stay.
What great customer care 5 star service. Great location too. Only about a mile from the groceries stores.
And the market offers a one way shuttle back to THE PLUM TREE CLUB. The grounds .... so peaceful
and in the morning on the patio with a cup of coffee, it was fun to watch the monkeys and listen to the birds.
The plants and grounds were well manicured. The condo was spacious and...

I recently traveled to Barbados early June for my birthday. The hotel staff was very warm and friendly; they checked in on my friends and I daily and gave us great advice of places to visit, places to eat and booked a catamaran excursion for us that picked us up and dropped us off. Rosie at reception is amazing!! She was funny and sweet and even gave a a bottle of wine on my Birthday! The staff were all great, but Julie-Ann and the security guard were exceptional!! They were kind, helpful, and went above and beyond with making my stay enjoyable. I traveled alone and had a few problems that they both didn't hesitate to assist me with. :) The hotel doesn't have an elevator so you may not want to pack heavy. It's located close to restaurants, the beach, bus stop and other events etc. The room was a decent size and clean.

A wonderful old, colonial era hotel right on the water. Tons of history, amazing service, and a great restaurant right on site. Excellent getaway if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, without many distractions.

After reading a few of the reviews on this site I was wary, but we had an 18-hour layover and needed a place to sleep. I figured, whatever, we can at least just sleep there. We LOVED it. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating; the room was spacious (the closet behind the bathroom door could have fit a small bedroom set !), clean, and very comfortable; the facilities were perfect for what we needed. We had a delightful walk down to the public beach and dinner at the little...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Butterfly Beach Hotel. The whole place was very clean and bright. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms were really spacious. We met several guests who were repeat guests, and we would certainly return to Butterfly Beach Hotel on future trips to Barbados. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and it was evident that the entire staff takes great pride in offering a wonderful experience for guests.

We stayed 3 nights on our first trip to Barbados. The hotel is lovely and the room was very comfortable. The staff was amazing - everyone was so friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer, but we booked at the last minute and they were completely booked. The food in the restaurant was very good as well. We will be back someday!

The people that run the B&B were great and made sure we were taken care of. We arrived pretty late at night but Gerry was right there to meet us at the front gate. Had 2 glasses of ice water waiting in our room. Enjoyed the breakfast and time just visiting with them.

The best time to visit Lodge Hill, St. Michael, Barbados is during the dry season, which runs from December to May.
During these months, you'll experience consistently sunny days and lower humidity, making it ideal for enjoying the island's outdoor activities and beaches. The temperatures are pleasantly warm, typically ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s Fahrenheit (24-30°C), with a refreshing breeze. This period is great for those looking for a stress-free trip with reliable weather for sightseeing and relaxation.
Travelers seeking a quieter experience and potentially better value might consider the shoulder months of May and early June. While there's a slight increase in rainfall, it's usually brief and doesn't significantly impact travel plans.
