“Great Staff - very accommodating - we stayed a week and by the end of day 1 everyone knew us and our room number. Small resort - not too big in terms of walking which I love. Nice beach area - rock wall in the ocean stops all the waves so nice and relaxing in the water. Awesome outdoor bar to watch the sunset. We had a two bedroom unit which was perfect for our family with TVs in both. Buffet was good everyday. Two specialty restaurants were great. Short 15 min ride from the airport. The resort……

“The staff was very helpful and very kind. The hotel name Hilton is far a part from the condition of this property, from old furniture with burn marks and traces of dirt, line to have breakfast, selection of the buffe was limited and boring. Overall experience was 3 out 10. The bed was good the toilet and shower I give 2, definitely this property is not a 4 start it’s 2 start. Needs renovation asap. ”

“Property was nice, if you’re looking to have direct beach access, I wouldn’t recommend staying here as the water isn’t calm nor swimmable. I’d recommend staying near west coast of island or near Carlisle bay. I don’t feel like the hotel was kid friendly and because of that, I will not be returning as I travel with my children. Guests had complaints of kids playing at the pool, where management had to be involved and they favored the guest who had the issue with the kids. ”

There was confusion over where to eat on the property. we went to eat at the beach restaurant and it was closing so they sent us to the restaurant in the building where we could only get a buffet. there was only 1 elevator and it was not working part of the day and we were on the 4th floor. Very confusing layout of rooms as there are different levels and staircasses to access the rooms. Nice beach area. ”

“This is a tricky review to write as some things about Sweetfield Manor were very good but others were not. Firstly, the place advertises itself as a 5 star boutique hotel, boutique is correct, 5 star definitely not. The room itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with an excellent shower room. However, the first thing that we were told when being shown to the room was that there were two small bottles of water which were complimentary but any further water would have to be bought -……

“We were stranded on the island by the air traffic controller strike. I appreciate the staff opening their door for us to stay at a much higher rate. The place is hard to get to, far from being clean, no amenities like mini fridge, hair blower, safe and etc. ”

“Our recent stay at Almond Place Apartments was for 6 nights in February 2026. My husband and I had a wonderful stay here! Anderson was an amazing host! He offered extra services at a very reasonable rate to pick up from the airport and drop us off at the cruise port. He even drove to a local grocery store so we could grab some food for our stay. He also offers private tours around the island for those places one wishes to go see. The room was very clean and had all the amenities listed as per……

“Everything in the property was as described. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a problem starting the gas stove but a call to Nigel the house manager got that fixed immediately. Loved the spacious drying room and the patio. The only quibble is that it was not a short walk to the beach - it was 25 minutes at least, beside a busy road with little paved sidewalk and uneven ground - tricky for older women!
