Definitely a "get what you pay for" place

I wanted cheap as when I come out for Woodward, I just need a place to lay my head and shower. So I tend to go on the cheap and this place is definitely a "you get what you pay for" type of place. It isn't "Bad" but it isn't "Good" either. I gave it an "OK" rating, but if I were to put a number to it, I would give it a 2.5 out of 5.
It is an older facility, it is a little run down in terms of it's been ridden hard and put away wet type. It is however, still better than the previous place I was staying at in Southfield every year for Woodward.
My main issues;
1) The smell of musty cigarette smoke lingers. This is a big one for me as I am sensitive to smoke. Even though I had a non-smoking room, upon entering it, it still had that aroma that has crept into the carpet, walls, etc, of cigarette smoke. So much so, that it has infiltrated anything I brought home that is fabric or clothing. My laptop bag still smells of it, my pillow (I bring my own), despite washing it, still has the aroma, etc...
2) The bathrooms are a little dingy and the shower was "tight".
3) The included breakfast is basically donuts/bagels and dry cereal with milk, juice/coffee. Hardly a continental breakfast.
4) WiFi is a little slow, but it was easy to connect to. The problem is, I was logging into my work network (a secured protocol), and each time their WiFi slowed/dropped, it kicked me out, causing me to have to continually re-boot my PC.
On the plus side, it had a nice flatscreen HDTV.
