Instead of running credit card for $100 hold for incidentals. Front desk scanned pictures of credit card and drivers license into computer. When I complained about this practice, I was told that this is how they protect themselves. When I asked who had access to those pictures, basically all hotel employees. So if you want all your private info available to Detroit, have a nice stay!!!

Overall my stay was good. My biggest complaint was discourteous guests. I was on the 1st, the 2nd floor lodger over me had children, they running & noisy. After being asked to tone things down some, they continued and increased the amount of noise & running. I understand children have energy they need to burn off, but not continuous, then to do it on purpose after being asked to just tone it down. It won't stop me from staying at your hotel, but I will definitely be looking for a third floor room.

Hotel had availability when flight was delayed and was close to the airport. Staff was friendly. However, the room only had 1 very small shampoo/conditioner pack and 1 bar of soap for sink and tub and it was very tiny/thin. Tv glitched occasionally and remote didn't fully work. Free continental breakfast included 2 cereals and 2 or three muffins for all. Juice machine was not working. Someone mentioned there was a staff issue, so we understood and that might be why some things were lacking.

Horrible. Hair dryer didn't work, bed hard, air conditioning in room off and my husband had to find where to plug it in. Halls smelled like weed.

The hotel is close to the airport which is handy, but it lies right under the flight path and is quite noisy. Upon check-in, we discovered that the restaurant bar and restaurant were closed due to the always handy "staffing" problem. We booked his hotel because they had a restaurant and bar. Then, we discovered that the TV was stuck on one channel with no sound. Talked to another customer and found out they had the same issue in another room. Obviously, house maintenance is poor and few dollars are being spent on replacing worn out equipment. Room was booked for 3 adults, but the room only had one set of towels. When we contacted the front desk to complain, we were offered another room, but declined as it would likely come with all of the same poor conditions. Asked to speak to the manager regarding a dnt on the room rate due to the substandard conditions, we were told the manager wouldn't be in until the next afternoon. I recommend future customers consider another hotel for your stay at DTW. n.

London the front desk clerk was awesome. Staff is slow to clean up. Continental breakfast was a joke. Prison food is probably better with a better selection. Not sure but just a guess . Convenient to the airport with shuttle service is the only reason why I choose this hotel, plus the name. I've stayed at much nicer Wyndom properties in the past such at SFO airport.
