"Excellent hotel opposite Exeter Central station "
Perfect position directly opposite Exeter Central station. Two minutes to shopping arcade, 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral and a couple more to the Quays. We arrived early and left our bags for an hour whilst we found our bearings. Very comfortable quiet twin bedroom on first floor accessed by a lift. Most impressed with the room, looked newly refurbished. It was almost the first room I've used where there were plenty of electric sockets particularly close to the well lit wall mirror - so useful for female travellers who use hairdryers, hair straighteners etc. Well done designers, you've obviously listened to your female visitors. The shower room was superb, again well lit and in excellent condition, good toiletries available. Tea and coffee provided, hair dryer and iron in wardrobe, no ironing board though. Additional pillows too if required. Didn't eat in hotel, but had a couple of drinks, reasonably priced. Staff were excellent, professional, efficient and approachable. Highly recommend. There was parking, no comment as we travelled by train.

well located hotel close to railway station and coach station, car parks close by. Near Drake shopping centre, other town shops and market. Close to the Royal Theatre and the Hoe. Buy your breakfast coupon from reception there it will cost £8.95, if you buy at the restaurant it will cost £11.95. Very friendly and helpful staff, the bar area is a disaster, though it has a nice selection of wines and spirits has no craft beers, or real ales only some poor quality chemical beers.
note: standard rooms nice and large no air conditioning just a fan, heating can be noisy

Beautiful room, very accommodating and tranquil experience. I stay again no hesitation, high standards for food only downfall may need a few more options for the choice cereals. In regards to cleanliness only one small problem need to be more attention to the dust. Dust on the radio clock, remote control for the television and both bedside tables. The staff are most welcoming especially the hostess, advising on where to go, ensuring we are having a great stay. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.
