The Globe is perfectly located in the middle of town within walking distance to shops and waterfront.
They offered a great breakfast and dinner menu alongside a cozy pub atmosphere. Housekeeping was excellent and our room was perfectly clean and restocked when we came back every day!

The room was large but my air conditioner didn’t work and the bed felt worn/old. I mentioned it to the desk and they put a mattress topper on the bed which really fixed the issue. The windows opened and in late August with the fan in the room - I was comfortable. The comfort of the rest of the hotel and the fantastic sauna, pool and hot tub made up for the bed and air...

I was welcome by the manager Erica and she was a delight , very bubbly lady and she took me to the room and

The Villa Marina is run by two of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. Vince and Erwan were amazing hosts who would do anything to ensure you had a wonderful stay. The hotel is super clean, the breakfasts ensured lunch may not be required! A location not far from the sea or town centre and an overall lovely atmosphere. Their knowledge of the local area was well received by everyone which helped guests make the most of their time in Torquay. I can’t thank them enough for making my stay...
