“This is a new-build home with many clever features and beautifully decorated. The host has provided many thoughtful touches for the traveler: plenty of robe hooks, generously stocked coffee bar with k-cup and nespresso machine, luggage racks, a laundry basket, fitted sheets with a pocket for glasses and phone, fully stocked kitchen. Great location, welcoming, clean, accommodating and well-thought out for travelers. We have family in the Lufkin area and will definitely stay again.”

“The property charged me through Expedia for a room, and once I made it the manager said they were full. Expedia does not allow a refund for the hotel even though I did not get to stay! 😔😡”

“We had a wonderful stay at Lakehouse!!! Beautiful view of the lake! The inside was newly remodeled & was very clean & beautiful!! Even though it was freezing temps the weekend we stayed, the house was very warm & patio was enjoyable with some blankets the host provided. Really enjoyed the enclosed patio to give options during any season. Really appreciate the host allowing us to park in the garage. House was nicely furnished. Always appreciate the extra paper towels, toilet paper, trash……

“We stayed over the Christmas holiday and the home was beautifully decorated. We had two families and two sets of grandparents for a total of 13. There was plenty of space for everyone, whether we were on the porch, in the game room, or in the dining and living area. The kitchen had everything we needed when cooking for a large group. The sunsets on the lake were amazing and we really enjoyed fishing with the kayaks. Overall, it was a great experience. ”
