“The staff was quite friendly. On a down side, there was no mention at the time of booking that the hotel was undergoing a major renovation. One of the reasons that we selected this hotel was the onsite restaurant. This was closed. The construction noise above our room was as horrible as it possibly could be. “This is a delightfully unique property with outstandingly friendly, polite and attentive staff. It may be owned by a big chain, but it is as charming and gracious as any bed and breakfast inn. We feel we found the best accommodations in Juneau and right down the street (4-5 miles) from the only glacier park you can drive to. Our room (201) was spacious, clean, cozy and well appointed.
