“Suite was homely and cozy, downtown Peterborough is fairly accessible by car, and convenience store right down the road. The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching. Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit.”

“Great little place. No complaints. Had a nice breakfast with other guests that were staying there graciously provided by the host. Would definitely come back sometime. Expect a charming rustic vibe with comfy, contemporary TV/wifi set up. Breakfast was really great, everything pretty much felt at home, though we only stayed on night. Only weird thing was we had difficulty getting the bedside lamps to turn on.”

“The room was really clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent, probably the best I have had in a hotel in a long time. We had Eggs, fries and French bread and everything was delicious. Coffee is great too. Would definitely stay with them again. ”

“Both Restaurants had a great service, and food was great (dinner in the patio and breakfast inside). The pool area can use an update; it looks a bit run down but we really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor transition! Thin walls made hard to rest properly, between wedding goers and some teenagers knocking at our doors randomly...”

“We loved this hotel in Peterborough! Everything was comfortable and clean, I am pretty sure that it is a brand new hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly from check in to check out. We stayed on a ground floor river view room, it was so nice! We had our own little deck looking right out onto the river, where we could watch the sunset and the families of geese and ducks on the lawn. So sweet. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet, with every amenity available. We had a great sleep. The……

“there was no hot water and when asked about this the lady at reception said she will let her husband know once he is back after 9 am ! the building is super old , washroom are shared between rooms , NO air condition ! there was a $50 resort fees ... FOR WHAT ??? we paid about $185 per night”

“We loved this place. A few minor maintenance needs, but they were more than compensated for by the beautiful and restful waterside setting. Bed was comfortable. Room was small but adequate. Nice touches : real creamers for morning coffee (no powdered poison). We'd come back again given a reason to travel to the area.”
