"Melville Castle was such a highlight on our trip. The room was gorgeous, the bed was comfy, and shower was incredible. The entire castle was decorated for the holidays and it was so cozy and charming. We ate dinner in the restaurant and HIGHLY recommend. We will absolutely be back"

I would highly recommend having an evening meal there as both of our choices were delicious. Great location - we went into Edinburgh three times and used the park and ride at Wallyford which is a 15 minute drive away. Stunning views from the restaurant. We shall definitely recommend The Lodge to anyone who wants to stay in the area."
