“My family and I booked as we were going to the field of dreams site. We wanted a hotel that was close. The check-in process was easy. The outside looks like you would imagine a hotel in a small town would. Upon arriving in her room. The smell of mildew and mold was overwhelming. The air was off and when I turned the air on it got worse. I have a daughter that is a heart transplant. She instantly started coughing. My husband came into the room with his first load of items from the car. He told me……

“This hotel is old and much in need of updating. Air conditioning was loud and didn't really keep the room that comfortable. Had to get staff to turn on power. The room pictures on Expedia are not at all what the room actually looks like. The room was clean enough and had good location. Not a good value for the money.”

“Had the hotel for 2 nights but since I took my luggage with me after the first night the staff checked me out of my room even though I never formally checked out or notified the front desk that I was leaving. Later on that evening when I returned, a couple was assigned my room and came in while I was in there. Afterwards, when night management clocked in, again my room was assigned to another couple, that came in again while I was in my room. Not the best hotel experience I've had.”

“Clean and tastefully decorated. Beautiful view with comfortable gliders to sit outside. Comfortable bed. Nice Fall decorating touches in the room. Minor suggestions: Hooks or someplace to hang jackets. Also, Shower gel and hand soap were both almost empty making it difficult to get some out of the containers. Excellent stay.”
