“Property wasn’t much to look at outside but inside was perfectly clean. Good layout for our family of 5. Appliances clean and ample kitchen wares. Owners were awesome and good communications. Price was right and well located between houghton and copper harbor. Great place to stay for your trip to the Keewenaw. ”

“The apartment was a great base camp for our travels in the upper pennisula. Beds were comfortable and shower was nice. I do agree with another review about the bathtub being slippery when taking a shower. We bought a bath mat which helped tremendously.”

“We came to hike so was great location-relatively short drives to copper harbor, eagle harbor, McLain State park, falls etc.. calumet area has options for dining, groceries etc so you don’t have to drive to Houghton, unless desired. Apartment was clean, relaxing and nicely decorated. Would stay again!!”

Beautiful sunsets over the lake, you can have a fire if you like or spend some time in the wood barrel sauna! Getting ready in the morning was awesome we would see a family of bald eagles flying around from a near by nest.”
