"The Copper Jewel is a wonderful property with character, charm and plenty of space. And Pam is a rockstar! We had the whole home to ourselves (3 couples) but were fortunate to have our host (Pam) prepare a bountiful breakfast each morning and entertain us with stories of Calumet and copper country - including the 100-year old Jewel (home). The sauna was a hit as was the easy access (walking) to the bars, restaurants and shops of downtown Calumet. Love this place and look forward to returning...

"Can’t rave enough about the accommodations at Stella’s Hideaway! Everything was well stocked, clean and comfortable beds. The views were great, the rocks were even better! The location was perfect for checking out mine tailings and heading up to copper harbor. Calumet has a really tasty coffee shop and cute stores. We stayed for 4 nights and found lots of agates and even some lake worn copper to add to our ever growing rock collection. Sifted through mine tailings and found some greenstone...
