I had a room booked for 2 days. When arriving the outside was dated and could use a facelift. The lobby was the same. Security was escorting someone out. Check in was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. But as we walked to the elevator it started to get very uncared for. When I unlocked the room I was overwhelmed by a dingy dank smell. There were stains on the carpet, on the chair. Large patio with nothing on it. I couldn’t overcome the smell and felt dirty standing in the room. We decided to leave and find somewhere else to stay as I couldn’t overcome the smell and could not sleep there and feel safe. I guess I should have known as the price was right. Just not for me.
