“Last minute overnight work stop, made to feel very welcome especially considering how unexpected I was. The place has been decorated to a very high standard and kept its character. Room was immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast was top notch. Highly recommended would definitely stay again. ”
“We booked very last minute, due to an unforeseen problem with our holiday cottage. When we arrived it was literally 5 mis before they stopped serving food BUT the chap said I'll go and ask the chef .,. He did and we enjoyed a very hearty excellent steak and ale pie each. Absolutely delicious, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast cooked to order and v attentive staff throughout.”
