“Although we didn't get to meet our hostess, the owner/host and his staff were fantastic. The pub was cosy and clean and extremely reasonably priced and the service was amazing. Very pleasant and friendly people who genuinely cared about making our stay pleasurable. Absolutely recommend and should we find ourselves down that way again, we will most certainly stay here. “A wonderful hotel across the road from the beach. Check in was very easy, the gentleman was happy and informative. The room had everything we needed including a fan, clean, well kept and beautifully simple. Very quiet at night, with a comfortable bed, breakfast was brilliant with multiple choices, cooked quickly and the chef was great. The garden was great especially in the evenings and the bar was reasonably priced. All the staff we met were happy to chat or recommend a place to go. Check out……

“Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We were wet through from walking and booth tea and biscuits on arrival. We had a free upgrade to a beautiful sea view room. They had thought of everything. There evening wine glasses and bottle opener in our room. Fresh milk. Fantastic advice about the local area and our days walking the next day. They even gave us a walking pole for the next day. Breakfast was delicious. They were so accommodating and kind.”

“Lovely seaside retreat, perfect location and welcoming hosts. Breakfast was great and easy walking distance to the harbour. We had a harbour view room and the sunshine came through lovely late afternoon to enjoy whilst getting ready for the evening. Would highly recommend.”
