“Both Chris and Claire were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and included everything we needed plus a few little extras like fresh milk in the mini fridge. Cooked breakfast was fresh and cooked to order plus a selection of other breakfast items as well. Overlooked the marina for breakfast on Saturday morning with the sun shining, a lovely experience.. Parking included in the nearby Marina car park was also a great idea. Only about 10 minutes stroll to the harbour and main shops……

Hosts were so helpful, I struggled with the heat so they ensured our room was kept cool and gave me a beach brolly to use. The location was good, not too near centre but an easy 20 minute walk to the seafront and shops. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were fab, will definitely be returning.”

“Car park nearby free after 6pm.Attractive building on the outside, entrance straight into rather beery bar and games area. Untidy bar top serves as reception. Route to rooms through function room ( fortunately only a small dance class took place on the night of our stay). No separate dining area so chose not to eat there. Very limited food option in Modbury. Room itself clean, tidy, and quite comfortable. Fairly constant through traffic for light sleepers, but ear plugs supplied in room.……
