“Wonderful staff and property ”

“Absolutely one of the most charming stays I have ever had in the states! The attention to detail from the linens, bath robes, towels, le labo soap and shampoo and conditioner (my ABSOLUTE fave brand), To name a few are extraordinary! The feel! The downstairs rooms to do work. No TVs in the room, so you can turn off! The landscaping outside The neighborhood SARAH!!! Incredible! I could go on and on Unless they are booked, I won’t hesitate ever staying here when I’m in Detroit! Wish we had……

“Had a wonderful stay at the Frederick Stearns House Historic Inn. The owner was there most of the time to answer any questions and provided some great information on the history of the Inn and surrounding area. She also prepared very delicious breakfasts. The room was large and comfortable and there are many interesting decorations throughout the Inn.”

“The Cochrane Inn is run by a pair of wonderful sisters, Rica and Winky. I arrived at the Inn way ahead of the check-in time and was exhausted due to the longhaul flight. They offered me complimentary breakfast and accompanied me while I was waiting in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable. This was my first time being able to fall asleep on a hotel bed without the help of melatonin pills! The Cochrane Inn is truly a magical house to me!  Thank you for the awesome stay once again, Rica……
