Beim Frühstück – das ich separat für 15 € gebucht hatte – wurde ich mitten im Essen und einem vertraulichen Telefonat in sehr unfreundlichem Ton zum sofortigen Verlassen aufgefordert. Zwei Mitarbeitende drohten sogar mit der Polizei, obwohl ich längst ausgecheckt war. Die Regel, dass man auch den Frühstücksraum um 11 Uhr verlassen muss, wurde mir zuvor nie mitgeteilt.

"Die Unterkunft hat den Charme einer Jugendherberge und keineswegs eines Hotels. Keine Bar, kein Restaurant o.ä. in der Nähe.
Auch das uns angebotene Zimmer sah aus wie in einer Jugendherberge. Spartanisch und kühl. Keine ordentliche Hotelatmosphäre. "

"Das Gut ist idyllisch gelegen nördlich von Berlin. Ich nutze es sehr häufiger als Zwischenstopp, wenn ich von Rügen wieder nach Süddeutschland fahre. Da bietet er sich für mich an, da ich meistens auf der Insel erst am Nachmittag losfahre. Da ich mit Hund reise, ist es auch eine ideale Location. zwischen den Koppelwiesen kann ich gut meine Spaziergänge machen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und in ordentlichem Zustand. "I’ve always wanted to stay at this hotel because of its location to my family, but never have. This particular trip I absolutely needed to be next to Alexander plots for the convenience of my airplane departure, so I booked it here for three nights and it was absolutely perfect. I only needed a small room so the price was right. Staff was amazing with daily room cleaning to boot. Thank you so much for the great day. Would gladly recommend and do it again. Another one of the big draws, is that because you’re so close to the train station it makes it easy to get in and out, but the biggest plus was that you can get a Döner almost any time of the day. Perfect! A+."

They upgraded me to an executive room - and I swear it was bigger than my first flat. Spotless, comfy, and one of those places you actually want to come back to after a day stomping round Berlin.
Breakfast? Outstanding. None of this sad wee bit of toast nonsense - proper variety, good coffee, and enough to keep you fuelled till dinner.
And the staff! Friendly without being fake, the kind of people who make you feel like a guest rather than a nuisance with luggage.
Location's spot on too - easy to get about, but not stuck in the middle of tourist mayhem.

Everything was very nice overall, and I truly appreciated the hospitality. However, I did notice that the gluten-free options at breakfast were quite limited.
Additionally, there were no clear labels indicating which products were lactose-free or gluten free. As dietary needs like gluten and lactose intolerance are not uncommon, it would be wonderful to see a wider variety of gluten-free and lactose-free options, clearly marked, in the future.
