"Staff was friendly and helpful. Room is comfortable, though not large. Nice bathroom with a good shower. Restaurant meals were reasonable and well prepared. Wish we could have stayed longer, but used the hotel as a base to get a flight home."

"Nice hotel friendly staff, food was overpriced but where isn’t these days, clean room comfortable bed didn’t use the pool or gym so can’t comment on the facilities as was only a short stay, no other restaurants around the hotel but regular busses into Edinburgh city centre from outside the hotel."

"The staff couldn't be more helpful, refilling water bottles for tea/coffee, supplying extra decaf coffee. Allowing us to leave our cases, so we could enjoy our last day. Within easy walking distance of all the local amenities, if not a little hilly 😊"

"Perfect location to reach all major attractions. Bring in the Grassmarket is wonderful for the castle, dining, shopping, and tours. Great staff as well who was very kind and informative. We stayed in a family suite and it was very nice. It’s is Edinburgh though, so if you plan on walking be ready for hills and stairs. Hotel was very accommodating in getting transportation for my grandmother. Looking forward to a return visit. "

"We were two mums and two 10 year olds on a theatre trip. This hotel was perfect for us - easy to drive to (outwith the centre), plenty parking, very nice staff, spacious room (double bed and bunk beds family room) and easy to get into the City (number 26 bus from just round the corner got us there in 25 mins) In the morning, the girls went for a swim - we were able to supervise from the side - the pool was nice and clean, and the guy working there was really helpful and kind.
