Didn’t explore Lasswade other than being at The Castle grounds but it had a direct bus to the city center
Travelers like the historic sites in Polton, and Hawthornden Castle is a top attraction you might want to visit.

Solid hostel, but the curtains on the top pods do little to keep out light as they don’t actually cover the pod. The charger port in my pod didn’t work to charge my phone or laptop and there was no convenient spot in the hostel to sit and charge my devices. There are 2 seats on one floor for the ...

A gorgeous old cottage fitted out with everything you need including a washing machine. Good to stay out of the city of Edinburgh but close enough to commute by train if you have a car and use the free park and ride.
