Didn’t explore Lasswade other than being at The Castle grounds but it had a direct bus to the city center






Clean room. No EV car chargers as advertised. Food not great for cost. Changing rooms in leisure centre not suitable for young children. Sauna and jacuzzi unavailable

The staff were so friendly, warm and genuine. The location was absolutely perfect, couldn't believe the view of the castle from our room. Comfortable beds & lovely room. The only slight draw back was the noise from the pubs opposite at night, but the castle view more than made up for this.

The Adagio is in a great location on the Royal Mile! There are shops galore, many excellent restaurants, and it's within easy walking distance of Edinburgh Castle, the Holyrood Palace, the Museum of Scotland, Museum of Edinburgh as well Greykirk cemetery.It is also a short walk to Waverly train station ...

The room had electricity problems — fusebox triggered twice for no apparent reason. The fusebox needed to be set from within another room. There also seemed to be a problem with one of the electrical outlets. Breakfast was not worth the money. It was largely packaged dry food. We were told we could ...
