Great place for price. Small but if there just to sleep and shower then it gets the job done. However, the walls are paper thin. About 20 min walk to old town and Castle. A bit quieter area away from all the hustle and bustle.

Turned out that this place is a dorm. Two of us barely fit in the bed and the room was extremely small and felt like a prison cell.

Excellent budget option in what appears to be student housing. Compact and clean rooms, with the basic amenities. 20 minutes walk to city center, but along a street with shops, restaurants, bars etc., and a bus stop nearby with frequent service.

placed me in a accessible room and i had difficulty using shower, they were cheap with towels. staff could work on customer service skills, got some eye rolls, dirty looks, and just a couple occasions rude mainly the women. other than that it was a okay stay besides that.

It is University accomodation with a small double bed, tint room , no facilities and in no way value for money. We paid for three nights and checked out after one night - not for a couple - it does have wifi but nothing else to commend it other than friendly check in staff Don’t book here unless you have no other options

Check-in and check-out were smooth. During check-in, the front desk host was very nice and cheerful, and gave very clear explanations of the directions and housekeeping rules. The room was bright and clean, with a window that opened fully when it got stuffy. Relatively quiet neighbourhood around St Leonard's Street, with a Sainsbury's nearby but not much in terms of cafes or restaurants. Multiple buses run through Clerk Street nearby to take you to the station or the city centre.

This was not advertised as student accommodation and the double room has such a small bed that can really only fit one person comfortably- this should be highlighted . We had to book another room on arrival when we realised this. Otherwise well maintained property and ideal for the fringe . Nice kitchen and amenities available . The staff were very good at booking and facilitated the changes and understood the situation . Even the studio room which we viewed could barely fit 2 people on the double bed !

I liked the location, access to buses The design of the room and en suite was good window overlooking greenery and near crags is very calming Use of a kitchen enabled self catering which was ideal for me travelling alone My only complaint was the slamming doors. I realise fire doors are heavy and prevent quiet closure but the slamming at midnight was unnecessary. Walls very thin Could hear conversation in adjacent room Otherwise a good venue

Do no book it if you are traveling alone!!! Unless you want to stay up all night! The door is very heavy but the wall are super thin so anyone close the door you will wake up. The “excellent design” of this hotel or student unit is that they have these 10 small rooms shares a kitchen and sharing the same entrance( same door) So that means anyone in that unit want to get in or out will have to close the same door and you will be waked up once! Trust me I ware ear plugs and an anti noise earphones on top of it still not working! And don’t think it’s just one specific room type, almost all studios shares the same issue!! Will never ever book it again!!

Great for festival bolt-hole

From warm welcome to super helpful checkout, we (mum & 9 year old) loved our stay. Bed was comfy, everything clean, great to have access to kitchen and communal area with chance to chat to other guests - a grand-mother and -daughter from The Netherlands. Otherwise very quiet despite being quite full. Great location for us, near to Arthur’s Seat, easy cab from and to station, amd enjoyed the walk into centre of town

ホテルというよりは民泊に近く、3日に1度のタオル交換です。またドライヤーはないので、持参必須です。 立地はよくて、歩いて割とどこへでも行けて、治安もよかったです。物価が高いのでキッチン付きでなのも助かりました！

Prisvärt och fräscht!

Välstädat och kändes rent och fräscht! Oslagbar utsikt! Smidigt med tillgång till kök. Personalen var trevlig! Det enda negativa är den ganska knöliga sängen samt att det är lyhört mellan rummen. Rekommenderar dock verkligen detta boende! Trivdes väldigt bra här!

This property is a student dormitory during regular school term. The location is excellent and there’s good public transportation options nearby. The room is small but comfortable. There’s a communal kitchen with a refrigerator.
