“We couldn’t have asked for a better place to get away and spend some quiet time as a family. We spent a lot of time in the river and explored the small town of Camp Wood. Everyone was welcoming and the shops were great to explore. We even learned pickleball and played every night. We are already working to plan our next trip!”

“The family and I loved our stay. The cottage is beautiful, cleaned, peaceful and has toiletries in case you forget something or run out. The property has a lot of space that my 2 & 4 year olds were able to ride their bikes. There were a couple of games to play and we chose to play jenga, enjoyed seeing the cars pass by while eating breakfast on the front porch, later in the day we sat on the back porch and viewed the river. “Beautiful place and views. Relatively secluded. Access is via a rough gravel road, so be prepared to bring a 4WD vehicle and to be bounced around. Interior was clean and comfortable. Deck was stunning, but some of the outdoor chairs (stools) are showing a lot of weather damage/cracking, so we avoided sitting on a couple of them. The water supply consists of tanks filled by a water truck, so water conservation is required. Overall, my wife and I agreed that we would be happy to stay again.”

“Can you say Bed Bugs! After the first night I had some minor itching on my right hand. By Sunday, 24 hours later I thought I might have been attacked several times by a Brown Recluse. It was that bad, but never did turn into that kind of severity. Other - 1 towel for 2 people. No wash clothes. No soap or shampoo. ”
