"Kat’s Kabin was a great place to watch the Geminid meteor shower. The dark skies are wonderful. It was so quiet. We could hear the owls & coyotes at night. The cabin kitchen is well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We can’t wait to come back. "

Suzy kindly stopped setting up and ensured we were able to get to our room. I was extremely impressed with everything and will certainly be back when I come back to the area."

"The Whiskey Mountain cabins have been my favorite place to stay in the Leakey, TX area. Ihave stayed several times in different cabins. The cabins are very clean and cozy. It's conveniently located between Leakey and Garner State Park. The hosts are extremely accommodating and responsive to any needs you have."

"The host was extremely responsive, welcoming, and friendly. She provided great ideas for things to do and see in the area. I grew up in Real county so I am very knowledgeable about the area. However, for those who did not, it would be extremely helpful. The cabin was even cuter and more spacious than in the pictures. It is in a really pretty area that feels secluded but yet is very convenient to Leakey which is about a 1/2 mile away. We saw lots of white tail deer including a large buck with nice antlers. I highly recommend this place!"
