Once our car was parked we could walk everywhere for shopping, drinks at the pub and visiting the sites. Very comfortable bed and wonderful shower (great after a hard days walking). "Best cottage we've stayed so far. Clean and very well stocked with anything you might desire. Superfast internet, Netflix included, beautiful area and dog proofed patio to let the hounds smell fresh air without escaping.Comfortable bed, cozy bathroom. "We had a 1st floor room there are no ground floor which is up around 15 steps, it was just inside the building It was clean the windows would not stay open, we ate at the hotel two nights food was nice but quite pricey Peaceful stay could not fault the staff they were polite, hard working and really couldn’t ask for more"

"One of nicest bunch of staff have met at a hotel. Very hardworking, diligent and actually care about their guests. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool and gym were excellent. Only issue was on checkin as it took a very long time as a couple guests were having payment and suite issues. Parking is close by, food in restaurant was perfect and breakfast had a lot of choices. This hotel takes good allergies super serious and lots of dairy gluten free options available- we were sad to leave"

"Everything was great - no issues. Car parking was also well integrated but it appeared to be only 24hr blocks. Might be handy if you arrive early to be able to get 26 or 30 if exploring the next day. Room was large and airy, nicely decorated and bathroom was clean and well appointed with everything you need. Only thing I couldn't locate was info about mini bar and if the water in the fridge was complimentary or chargeable. I'd happily stay again."

"The George is in a very central place in Cheltenham, it’s close to all the bus's needed to got to the Cotswolds and beyond. The staff are extremely helpful and give good advice regarding the area. We had the continental breakfast and there was plenty of healthy food and drinks available. We also had some cooked to order breakfasts and these were exceptionally good. On the downside some of the carpets on the stairs need renewing. Overall I’d give the George 9/10."
