“We stayed at this cabin over Labor Day weekend with a group of friends, and it was the perfect getaway. The property has everything you’d want to enjoy both relaxation and adventure: hammocks, a hot tub, paddle boards, kayaks, and more. It’s an ideal spot to soak in nature during the day and hang out together in the evenings.The cabin itself is thoughtfully laid out and equipped with all the modern amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking. “Absolutely fabulous property and the only negative is that 2 nights was not long enough! The neighborhood was very calm, peaceful and quiet which was just what we needed for the weekend getaway. The HUGE screen TV in movie room, jacuzzi, beautiful outdoor areas for seating, grilling out etc were amazing. Loved the decor throughout and attention to detail that the owners put in as the home was so well appointed with everything anyone would need. Had never been to this part of the Pacific……

“This is a wonderful cabin. The A frame structure is rustic and charming. There’s a comfy deck. Debra has shelves of board games and lots of info on local things to do. There is a washer and dryer! The upstairs loft with the king bed is where we slept because my husband is 6’6”. I loved it, although I bumped my head 3 times on the ceiling beams! But my husband was not that happy with how low the bed is and that we had to go downstairs to use the bathroom. The kitchen had the necessary dishes. But……

“My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,……

“My boyfriend and I absolutely love Lake Cushman and we stayed the weekend for celebrate his birthday. This cabin has it ALL!!! The host was absolutely fantastic and was easily accessible for any questions. Hot tub on the patio facing the lake was absolutely amazing!!! Sauna on the back deck was a nice treat. Absolutely everything about the cabin was absolutely wonderful!!! We are already looking at the calendar to plan our return trip!!!”

“We had an incredible stay at this cozy cabin in Hoodsport! The location is unbeatable, just steps from the canal and surrounded by endless hiking trails and lush nature. The hot tub and sauna were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring, and the kitchen was impressively stocked with everything we needed. Peaceful, scenic, and thoughtfully equipped—this place is a gem. We’ll definitely be back!”

The patio was a great spot to spend the cool mornings stretching and drinking coffee. The walking proximity to the lake was very convenient and the swimming area at the lake was incredible. If you want a nice place to stay in proximity to Olympic National Park, this is a great choice.”

“Very special quiet retreat. I loved the setting: a beautiful meadow surrounded by mountains. The Dosewallips is a short walk away and you can hear it from the cabin. The cabin is adorable and not small, with plenty of space for yoga. The bed was comfy, the outhouse incredibly clean. I hope to return. ”

“We had a magical time at this beautiful cabin! We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful lake, had it nearly to ourselves the whole stay! We paddle boarded and kayaked and dozed in the sunshine on the dock.The one big detractor was the air beds had holes in them, and the host said the pullout couch was uncomfortable, so it was a little tricky to sleep 3 friends comfortably. ”

“Perfect spot while attending a wedding at Alderbrook. We hosted a brunch, and I think our friends were a little jealous at our spacious accommodations! ”

“This was a very nice little cabin, worked perfect for us, and allows up to 2 dogs! We only had one, but still cool. Has dog wayer dishes, neighbors also have dog wayer dishes at multiple mailboxes in the "neighborhood" not mush privacy, as theres neighbors, but has a nice setting and great outdoor area. Hopefully next time we come it will be during a tome we canvuse the outdoor fire put!”
