“We were greeted by the owners, John and Linda and given a tour and history of the building. The room that we stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was gourmet! Homemade waffles, bacon, a poached pear, arugula salad with kiwi and blueberries and homemade cinnamon scones with lemon curd and clotted cream! Decadent to say the least. “There was maintenance being performed on casino electrical system so the bars and all but one restaurant were closed for business 45 minutes wait to be seated for dinner Also Alder hotel charged additional 25 dollars per night to use casino, which was not explained when reservation were made ”

“Upon arrival, our room appeared beautiful but the bathroom had a chair in the middle of the room with a garbage can on it and another garbage can beside the chair. The bathroom walls had several large places with unfinished drywall mud on the paint. There were no towels. The floor and the sink were dirty. We had to wear our shoes during our stay.
