"We came here for a weekend visit to check out the Shawnee National Forest area and had the best time! The cabin was in vlose proximity to several hiking areas, the amenities were great, and the cabin was very comfortable for what we needed. "We stayed here for a getaway weekend from Chicago for hiking and nature. The cabin felt very remote (it was!) and everything was as advertised. We used all the amenities including the hot tub, tv, and fire pit. It was very clean. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I wish we had another day to spend more time at the cabin sitting on the porch watching the beautiful scenery."
