"Hotel reservation requests were not met. I made my reservation two weeks before my stay with a notation that the two rooms be adjoining. I even called the hotel directly to check that they could accommodate my request and I was assured that they would. Upon checking in I was told that two double queen adjoining rooms were no longer available. I was offered no compensation for the inconvenience and settled for rooms across the hall from one another. To make matters even worse the heat in one of the rooms didn’t work. The breakfast was lackluster at best. Find another hotel! "

Easy check in process, very clean property and small touches like bottled water, snacks and hair dryer in the bathroom made us feel welcome and taken care of. I would recommend this property to anyone who needs a place to stay when visiting Elkader."
