“The room was extremely dirty. The towels appeared only partially clean, the curtains were stained, and the bathtub was filthy. There was hair in the bed when we arrived, which made us question the overall cleanliness of the room. The pool was also filled with sand and poorly maintained. The complimentary breakfast was very limited, consisting mostly of juice and bread items, and guests were required to eat in the breakfast area. For the condition of the property and the level of service……

“The location is convenient to everything in Saint Augustine and Saint Augustine Beach. The staff was very professional. Breakfast was OK, not great, but OK. It seems all hotels are serving those fluorescent yellow reconstituted scrambled eggs. YUCK! I did have yogurt and hot coffee.”

“I liked the price for what it what. The spaciousness of the room. I didn’t like how slow the staff was to check me in, the breakfast was very limited; mostly bread items.”

“The room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Everything in good working order. While the exterior of the building is a little drab and uninspiring, the room inside was very welcoming. It’s an easy walk to St George Street. My only issue is that there is no elevator. If you have a lot of luggage or have mobility issues, be sure to secure a first-floor room. We would stay there again.”
