Great ocean views, easy access to the beach, and access to local amenities. You have many restaurants nearby! Absolutely breathtaking views!! I especially enjoyed the swinging daybed on the third floor with a perfect view of the ocean!! Fabulous for watching the sunset!! I enjoyed many nights on the swinging daybed, listening to the surf, waves rolling in and out! I was lucky enough to also be there for a bit of rain, which sounded beautiful and unbelievably relaxing, and it felt like a dream to sleep this way!! You literally come out the front door onto a path with a lovely greenbelt, then descend steps to a landing with benches (another perfect spot for viewing sunsets). Then you can go down the steps to the beach. The home was remodeled perfectly for a beach setting!!

We had a wonderful stay at Alyson’s place. The townhouse was the perfect size for the four of us and both teens had their own bedroom and space. We loved having the window open at night in the master hearing the ocean waves. Watching sunset from the deck was the perfect spot or a quick walk to the steps to the beach also offered a great view. The office nook was a relaxing home office for meetings and my daughter loved hanging on the couch in that room to watch a show. We were able to reserve the Pickleball courts and we also enjoyed the beach just down the road. Alyson addressed any of the small issues that we had immediately and was incredibly gracious. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was perfect for our little thanksgiving dinner. I was worried that the noise from the train would wake me up at night, but we rarely heard it. I can’t wait to stay here again in the future.

We love the location of this condo. It's a relaxing neighborhood with easy access to Encinitas and the ocean. Alyson is very responsive, knowledgeable about the area, and overall a great host.

Excellent location! We enjoyed beautiful ocean views and wonderful spaces to relax. Fully equipped kitchen, plenty of beach gear, pool, pickleball, and tennis courts, along with direct access to the beach, were everything! Alyson is an amazing host and easy to get in touch with. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was so cute and comfy! The views and sounds of the ocean from the patio and master bedroom were so nice. It was just a quick walk to get to the stairs down to the beach. Location was great to get to all of our favorite local spots.

Beach stay

It was a very nice location, host was very helpful. I would note that the WiFi is slow and for streaming it kept spinning, and stuttering, which was unfortunate during our stay as the Olympics were on and the system wasn’t really responding well. It trying to watch movies at night. Overall the amenities were nice, kitchen well stocked. With everything needed to cook. Table and chairs we uncomfortable for older people…very hard to sit and have dinner or play games on…

Amazing stay in Leucadia!

Outstanding stay! My parents in their 70s and family of 4 with 2 little kids (2 and 4yo) stayed at Alyson's home for a week. We had an amazing time. The condo has stunning views from both the first and second floors of the ocean and you are just a short walk to the cliffs overlooking the ocean. There is a steeper stairwell directly to the beach and we enjoyed evening walks along the shore. The home was well equipped with everything we needed for our week stay and more. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have slept on! There were 2 pools (1 heated) on the property that we enjoyed using as well and Alyson provided all the towels/toys and beach items you would need! Really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to visit San Diego again!

Leucadia Gem!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in Leucadia. From the amazing amenities in the area (skate park in Encinitas, surfing, dining, shopping) to the gated community’s relaxed vibe…to the amazing views just steps away, it was terrific. Alyson is a great host and intent on improving her guests experience with each visit. We will definitely return!

Location Location Location

We really enjoyed our stay at Alyson’s place. Very cozy and eclectic. Has a great ocean view! Centrally located in the middle of Seabluffe. Right in front of the stairs to beach. Grounds are well kept. Lush with green grass and flowers. Complex has a guard gate so we felt safe. Home had a big swing with pillows to relax on and watch the waves! Alyson was very accommodating and prompt to respond. Was a great time.

Lovely Stay at Seabluffe

Beautiful property with an ideal location in the Seabluffe community. The property does not have central air conditioning but the owner worked with us to put in an air conditioning unit in the upstairs master bedroom which made a big difference. Excellent communication with owner.

Amazing Ocean Views

We loved our time on the deck looking at the ocean and walking down often to the cliff overlook. The property included great beach gear, boggie boards and plenty of beach towels. Kitchen was also nicely stocked with a range of spices and cooking oils. The property owner was very responsive to all of our questions and very helpful.

Wonderful quiet getaway

We loved our time at this property! My husband, father and two kids stayed here last week. The complex is very quiet (which is nice considering how busy the surrounding areas are). The home is beautiful and spacious, and the kitchen has all of the amenities. We went to surf side market for Cardiff crack and used the grill outside to prepare the meat (which worked great). The house has all Of the amenities you need for the beach- chairs, towels, umbrella and boogie boards. The pool is heated and very close to the unit. We were able to see dolphins swimming in the ocean from the deck! Alyson was very welcoming! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home & Location

The property is very clean and lovely ... The location was ideal for so many places, 3rd floor bedroom was amazing with a sitting area to watch the Pacific Ocean.. The kitchen was fully loaded with items needed for cooking or grilling, we loved the deck with coffee in the morning and sunset was just a few steps away on an overlook to the beach. All bedrooms were comfortable, clean, with quality linens, pillows and comforters. Plenty of space for 5 adults .. the living room sofa was a comfy and relaxing spot to get together... All TV's are well sized with streaming which was just enough. It's a very safe gated community with kind security to welcome you and assist. Restaurants are super close and walking to hotel next door for drinks at Vaga is a must.. Some amazing places all around Encinitas, you will not be disappointed staying here.. Our family enjoyed an amazing Christmas trip and hated leaving..

Wonderful Week at SeaBluffe

Alyson was a great host, checking with us via text as needed but also ensuring a very quiet and private week at her beautiful, well appointed (and very clean) home a block from the beach. Parking is easy, either in the garage or the lot nearby. Lots of dining options in walking distance. Early morning tennis followed by coffee on the deck were highlights for us each day. Tennis and pickleball courts can be booked easily via an app. The pool is conveniently located too. The local beach (just down the steps right out the front door) is great for swimming and boogie boarding. If you're a dog owner, you'll love Dog Beach not too far away (Del Mar) as dogs are not allowed on the local beach. Thanks Alyson for a great week!

A Vacation to Remember

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay this summer in this fabulous home. This vacation home was everything Alyson said it would be in her pictures and description. We had an incredible and relaxing time with beautiful views of the ocean (just steps away) with the tides rolling in and gorgeous sunsets. Leucadia is a very quaint beach town with nice restaurants, walkable from Sea Bluff. The people we met in the neighborhood were always so friendly and helpful. Great for dogs too. The house is very clean and well-equipped for every possible need and Alyson was so thoughtful about everything and did not leave a single detail out. She was also incredibly responsive anytime we had a question. We so enjoyed our stay (as did our two adult children) that we definitely plan on coming back next year. This home is by far our most favorite VRBO that we have ever stayed in and absolutely deserves a minimum of five stars. Kudos Alyson. You're the best.

Perfect family getaway

We rented this home for the month of June 2021 after having been cooped up for over a year due to the pandemic. It was the perfect change of scenery that we all craved. From the very beginning, we felt like we were renting someone's home versus a generic, commercial dwelling. We live in the San Diego area so this was more of a staycation for us. We explored the area daily with walks along the beach, walking the dog along 101 & Neptune, and frequenting a new restaurant almost every day. The kitchen had a full complement of appliances & kitchenware to make meals, but we were too lazy to cook much and would rather spend our time just staring at the ocean from within the living room or out on the patio. There was ample parking for our three cars including one in the garage. My favorite memory will be listening to the waves crash all night from the open windows while I slept. Blissful.
