Non-smoking, lovely 2400 sq/ft home featuring 4 beds/2.5 bathrooms, beachy bohemian theme. Enjoy coastal breezes and A/C, ceiling fans and 2 fireplaces inside and 2 firepits outside. 3 guest parking spots : 2 driveway/ 1 garage. Cosy living room with sectional sofa, vaulted ceiling, gas fire and comfortable seating with patio doors leading to the garden which is perfect for outdoor entertaining : six person hot-tub, relaxing hammock made for two, a kids playhouse, an extensive sunning deck with ample loungers and sofa seating with gas fire pit. Also 4 swivel chairs with fire pit and an 8 seater dining table with umbrella and also a BBQ grill for cooking enthusiasts. Primary suite is downstairs (which makes this wheelchair accessible) with a King Bed, flatscreen TV, ceiling fan and a window seat. There is a double vanity sink, walk-in spa shower and mirrored closet. Kitchen is open plan with breakfast bar that seats 3, white quartz countertops, butcher-block island for prepping, zinc top dining table with bench and 5 chairs. All SS appliances, 5 ring gas stove, walk-in pantry with microwave, toaster and electric kettle, Keurig and coffeemaker. TV room with sofa and 2 individual chairs for you to enjoy Netflix or OnDemand TV (sorry, no cable) with electric fireplace. Also high speed Wi-Fi. We have a 2 car garage with washer/dryer and many extras for you to enjoy while on vacation, including boogie boards, surfboard, beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, umbrella, cooler, wagon and bikes with helmets for all ages. Upstairs you'll find 3 bedrooms - 2 have Queen beds, and one bedroom has 1 single bed plus 2 twin bunkbeds to accommodate 3 kids. Each room has a TV, ceiling fan, and plenty of closet space. The upstairs bathroom has a shower/tub combo. House has a lot of amenities for the kiddos including outdoor playhouse, plenty of books, cuddly toys, coloring kits, jigsaws and board games etc. And for babies we provide baby gates, 2 x pack n play with mattress and crib sheets, 2 highchairs, umbrella stroller, car seat and 2 booster seats, 2 baby baths, blankets & diapers. We are walking distance (or 2 minutes by car) to Trader Joes, Ralph's, CVS, Habit Burger and many other shops and restaurants. 2 miles west straight down Encinitas Blvd. is one of the prettiest beaches of San Diego - Moonlight Beach which has an adjacent park, volley ball, board rental, refreshments, bathrooms and lifeguards! Take a stroll around downtown Encinitas and soak up the beach atmosphere in one of the many street cafes and restaurants offering sushi, Italian, Pizza, seafood - you name it, they got it! 10 miles north in Carlsbad is Legoland, 20 miles east in Escondido is Wild Animal Park, 20 miles south is SeaWorld and 25 miles south is San Diego Zoo and airport. We enjoyed cooking in the big kitchen, hanging out in the backyard, sitting by the fire pit, going in the jacuzzi and playing cards. Such a beautiful home. Everything was clean, beautiful and nice. My daughter used one of the many surf boards at Mission Beach. Helen’s house was perfect for us - the location was so convenient, the bedrooms were so comfortable for 4 adult couples, and Helen was so responsive and accommodating. The house was perfect for our multigenerational group, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touches for families including a stepstool for the bathroom sink, kid-friendly plates, and plenty of toys and games. (And the kids especially loved their room with bunk beds!) The property was spotless and Helen was incredibly responsive as a host. It's a fantastic location, right near plenty of grocery stores and a short drive to the beach. Other vacation rentals say they sleep 10 but, someone is sleeping in the living room. This house had everything you could want or need. A full stocked kitchen with dishes, spices, coffee and appliances. Baby items, beach items. There are too many items to list. The backyard had tons of seating, tables and a hot tub. The host was kind, gracious and accommodating. We felt at home in her beautiful home. The house is spread out enough that we all had plenty of room to get comfortable and relax without feeling crowded. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, and everything that we needed was a short walk or drive away. It is worth noting that the downstairs shower has a natural stone floor that is uneven by design. This was not a problem for our group, but someone with balance or mobility issues may struggle in the downstairs shower. Great aesthetic and decor; very bright throughout. Lots of comfy furniture inside and out. Family felt welcome and comfortable in all the rooms. VERY well appointed - the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes/pots/pans/cooking utensils - for anything you want to cook. The patio is amazing, multi-level, with fire pits and the hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day of sight seeing. Only a couple miles to Moonlight Beach - we had a blast there. The garage has \*everything\* you need for the beach - chairs, towels, boogie boards, surf boards, umbrella, toys for all ages. We parked in the garage overnight. If you stay, you MUST play the Survivor Outback board game. It is our second summer Our family enjoyed time at the beach and local activities out of the hot desert heat. The house is centrally located to resturants and grocery stores. a quick 6-10 min drive to Moonlight beach. additional beach restaurants and shops. The beds are comfortable, the house is well supplied, plently of beach toys to us. The backyard w/hottub and b-que seating area , fire pits are a welcome relaxing area & room for kids to play. Helen has thought of everything and has easy great communication with guest. Four adults and two children (ages 4 & 6). The hot tub was a hit with the kids, the fire pit table provided a great place for the adults. Home was huge and we all felt comfortable in the space. Location was great, close to the beach and the San Diego Safari Park. Any issues were addressed by Helen immediately.
