“When we arrived at the space, it was completely filthy. Linens were not cleaned, beds were not made, bathroom and floors were not clean, landscaping trash in the yard and the kitchen countertops were dirty. The space had an unusual odor that was quite off-putting. We were told that the owner had stayed and self-cleaned. Our host had their cleaning service dispatched immediately and cleaned the space after we arrived. If you plan to stay, make sure the space has been cleaned and serviced……

“The house is tucked away behind trees so it's not visible from the highway. Lighting at the doorway going into the garage where you enter the house. The house has nice big windows facing the lake. Beautiful view all day. The house is very roomy and lots of space to spread out. Outside is a porch with lawn chairs so you can send on the porch and the enjoy the view. There is also a small charcoal grill, table and chairs and off to the side of the porch is a fire pit. Kid friendly yard and house.”

“I had a great stay at Michelle’s place! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was quick and friendly. The location was perfect — close to every sightseeing spot in the UP. The view from back of the house is immaculate. Afternoon strolls along the beach, looking into the horizon across Lake Michigan during sunset is topnotch. Definitely recommend.”
