“I apologize if my review seems harsh, but overall, my experience at this hotel was disappointing. The property lacks clear signage, making it difficult to find important areas. The staff was not particularly friendly or welcoming, and the restaurant service did not meet my expectations. Additionally, the address listed online was difficult to locate, and my GPS could not find it. The hotel's cleanliness was also below my expectations. One of the most frustrating experiences occurred on my last……

“For basic lodging with a pool as your only needed amenity, Moose Lodge is great. We didn't use the pool but it looked to be in great, clean shape. It's great if you're in town for fishing or hunting, etc. Nice to have a kitchen too in our 2-bedroom room. No air conditioning but we had three ceiling fans that worked fine.”

There is no one in the office at any time there is a number you can call but no actual person the hotel is supposed to have bagels and oatmeal and light breakfast but nothing was available either morning I was there were also dirty dishes in the sink with food crusted to it and the countertops were sticky it looked like no one had been there in a while because all of the air conditioners were covered with foam and garbage bags so the rooms were hot. Will not……

“Sunday River is a cozy, friendly place to stay. The staff was helpful and attentive. I had the pool, hot tubs and gym all to myself. The rooms and appliances are dated yet functional. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was pleasant.”

We stayed one night before starting our hiking and camping weekend but decided to forego our ovenight camping plans and ended up booking another night at the hotel instead! The staff was wonderful, kind, and genuinely pleased to accommodate us. Would definitely stay again.”
