"Spent a few days at Pillar Point cottage with my wife. The place was perfect! Beautiful cottage inside and out. Couldn’t get any closer to the lake. Private deck for cooking and relaxing. Picnic table to sit at and enjoy beautiful sunsets. The hosts were very nice and a pleasure to talk to. They were very informative. Giving us alternate places to launch our boat in the area. Also a good location. Close to many attractions and very good dining. Two 👍👍! Thank you for your hospitality …. ✌️"

"We had a great time. The property was well equipped. There were 7 of us & we had plenty of room. The bedrooms were very comfortable. There weren't closets in all the bedrooms but there were hooks . The one downside was the entrance to the property. It was 2 long sets of stone steps with no railing. It was quite difficult to get up and down the steps."

"This Cottage was a perfect place to spend the weekend with my friends. From the enchanting path to the lake to the beautiful views from every window and lasy but not least the hosts were incredible, thoughtful, and just amazing hosts. The beds were a dream to sleep in and the kitchen a breeze to use. I honestly cant wait to be able to have an excuse to rent it again."

The only negative I would say is the water has an odor to it. Water is pumped into the cabin from the lake. Owner was upfront about bringing bottled water, which I did. "Best way to describe this cozy little place. We've stayed before & will book, again, next time we travel to Clayton. In fact, we won't travel to Clayton unless we can stay here. It's completely charming, close to the Boat Museum, an easy walk to the central shopping/eating area, and a long stone's throw to The River. Communication with the landlady is easy & thorough. Parking is a breeze. All photos posted are accurate & true. It's a charmer!"

"Everything about the house was amazing! We don’t own a boat so the owners provided us with a few local options, we chose Wagoner’s Marina. It was was easy to get to and the process there was smooth. "We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is a very nice place, and well-appointed - spice rack was appreciated! We stayed away from the main town on purpose - this location is very quiet and we loved relaxing on the porch. But it is very close to the town, restaurants and attractions- very short drive. Johnny, the property manager, was great. Excellent communication exchanges and available for any questions. Definitely recommend!"

"We booked this house for our guys annual fishing trip and we all had a great time. The location of the house to the boat ramp, bars and restaurants was perfect and the ability to dock the boats at the house was really convenient. The owner of the house was super thoughtful and welcomed our group with a "welcome basket" of goodies to start our trip right. Very clean, comfy and plenty of amenities. We'll definitely be back! Thank you!"

"This is our second year visiting the same house. It feels like a home away from home. The owners make it so easy for check in. Both times it was ready early. The view is so beautiful of the river. Town is within walking distance. We love it and we will be back again next year. We have gone in September and October but Boldt castle is closed after Columbus Day. Loved it bith times tbough."
